One more day until Friday. I can't wait. I'm ready for the weekend. We're going to go see our Coach fight in Richmond this weekend. He's got an MMA match. So that's exciting.

Not much excitement going on. The Kimbap that 'Gus and I made were yummy. I think I'll make it every other week. It's easy to make and a super easy lunch...and tasty to boot. 'Cakes requested I use Brown Rice instead. So...I'll need to go to the Asian Market and look for some more Brown Rice.

Today's photo is from my walk with Cheeky a couple of weeks ago. There was some vines growing behind a wall and some spilled over on to the sidewalk. I may try to put the pinhole closer to them next time.

Tiring day. Usual work stuff. I don't know what's going on, but come 3:00 in the afternoon...I am no good to anyone. I really should just crawl under my desk and sleep for a good 3 hours. Seriously. I've been trying to cut coffee out, only have it on special occasions...like at Elliot's for a Coconut Mocha. But me crashing at 3:00 is started to bug me, especially since I know I can't crawl under my desk.

Well, it's almost 10:00 at night and I'm ready for bed. I've been on the go since I left work. I wanted to make my girls Kimbap for lunch. (Kimbap is Korean Sushi) So anyway, I had to get some seaweed wraps and veggies. Ms. 'Gus came over and I showed her how to make one and she took over from there. She's a genius. Wow.

Today's photo is from a few weeks ago. Little Ms. Cheeky and I went for a walk around our neighborhood of Ghent. You get a lovely shot of her rear end. Cheeky and I both walked around the frame a bit.

I survived today. I overreacted about a meeting today. I can't stand being in meetings that I don't have any business being in that last more than 30 minutes. Today's meeting was suppose to be 4 hours long and this meeting was actually suppose to be all about me and my job as a designer to help the writers. So, I wasn't entirely annoyed, but annoyed none-the-less...because I know how the writers like to get off topic. Anyway, the meeting was pushed back from 2:00 to 4:00 and was going to last until 6:00. So I got angry because I thought it was still a 4 hour meeting, but it was pushed back 2 hours later. But in reality it was only 2. So...that's where the overreacting part came in. Ah well...Oh...and I didn't need to be in the meeting after all.

I feel like playing some Rock Band right now. So I think I will. Have you seen the new Guitar Hero's game? It's coming out soon. Their drum set looks cooler. I may have to purchase it. HUZZAH!

Today's photo is from a couple of weeks ago. 'Cakes and I went for a long walk one day with Cheeky around our new neighborhood. This is Stockely Gardens. They usually have Art Shows here.

I hope you had a fantastic weekend. I had a splendid 3 day weekend. My sister came down to visit and brought the cousins with her. We spent most of the time at the beach. Not really, I would have liked to have spent more time at the beach, but...at least we were able to hit the waves and relax a bit.

I'm not really in the mood to go to work. Not really feeling it. I just hope this week goes by fast, so I can enjoy another weekend at the beach. Since it was Labor Day weekend (Last Weekend of Tourist Season), we're allowed to bring our Dogs to the beach now. So...Ms. Cheeky will hopefully spend the day with me relaxing under the umbrella this coming Sunday. I'm hoping for a beautiful weekend.

Speaking of the beach, today's photo was taken at Atlantic City's beach almost a year ago. 'Gus and I left the other to ladies...who enjoy gambling, and went for a bit of a walk around Atlantic City's boardwalk.

I went to work. Felt better from my cold. 'Gus bought some ingredients for soup and 'Cakes made the soup. Soooo yummy. I think that helped beat the cold. Or perhaps me going home in the middle of the afternoon and sleeping it off helped...or both.

Nothing exciting to report. Went to work. Booooring. Went home after work and passed out for an hour at least. Got up and walked Cheek's...and now I'm writing the blog. I have to make an Egg White Omelet for 'Cakes...or she'll beat me.

I'm looking forward to the weekend. My sis and cousins are visiting for a day or so. We'll veg out on the beach. I'm looking forward to it. Oh and a quick shout out to Tiffany...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Listening to: My sister rambling on the phone

I went home sick today. I was getting a headache and my throat was killing me and I started feeling week. When I got home I took the little Cheekster outside for a walk and then passed out. I figured I'd better get a photo up before I'm not in the mood.

Hmmm...not much to write about. Woke up, took a shower, walked Cheeky, drove to Panera Bread, got soup and Orange Juice, went to work, worked, started feeling worse, left work at 1:00, got home, walked Cheeky, crashed in bed, woke up at 5:00, chatted with mom, gave her encouragement to quit smoking, chatted with Jenny, eating crackers, writing my blog....

Fun stuff.

I need to feed Cheekster now. She's giving me the look.

Today's photo is from two weeks ago. I was experimenting with my pinhole in my semi dark apartment, I left the pinhole open for a good 20 minutes. 'Gus was sitting on the sofa bed...can you see her ghostly image?

I was listening to NPR the other day and they were talking about how Mr. McCain went to a Phoenix High School to talk about voting or whatever...and he basically said something about not wanting to bore them anymore, and here's what you really want...rapper of the song 'Gasolina'...Daddy Yankee. There were a few gasps of excitement. I don't know who this rapper is, but he's Puerto Rican...and well... so is my Roomie 'Cakes! HUZZAH! I wonder if she's heard of him. Hmmm...

I think I'm getting sick. I thought it was allergies...but now I'm not so sure.

Well...that's all I got to report. I've got nothing to say.

I got a new roll of film back from the camera shop today. I was disappointed with the quality...the negatives came out pretty washed out. But...I'm happy, I think I may be able to get a few good scans.

I went for an early morning run with 'Cakes this morning. I was tired. I had to stop 3 times because my arms were hurting me. Lame. But...I did it. Then we had to walk up 8 flights of stairs to get back to the apartment. Then I had to walk back down 8 flights of stairs to walk Cheeky...then I had to walk back up 8 flights of stairs after our walk. I think I'm going to have to buy a knee brace...Or higher a Professional Piggy Back person and get a ride up the stairs.... I'm just say'n.

I went home for lunch to let Cheeky con Carne (Nickname given to Cheeky by 'Gus) out for her afternoon piddle...and I got lost in the neighborhood. Why? Because they were repaving our main street so I had to find an alternate route. I should have just taken the route I considered taking...but noooooo....I had to do things the hard way and kept running in to the paving crew. Moron. Talk about Moron...You don't even what to know what I concocted for dinner. What a mess.

About the only good thing that came out of today was my after work nap. I got home put on some shorts to walk Cheeky...and I saw her lying in my bed all cute, so I joined her and I didn't wake up for another 1 and a half. Wow. I'm ready for bed again.

Today's photo was taken 2 weekends ago, while 'Cakes and i did our laundry. Here is one of our follow Coin Machine Laundry Goers...he was reading a document. Perhaps a school report...or legal matters... a short story...use your imagination.

Just got back from dropping of the cousins in Richmond. It's about an hour and a half drive. I'm tired. As I sit here typing...I feel like I'm still on the Sail Boat, swaying back and forth. That means it was a good sail. I went sailing with my cousins and their friend today, with my Uncle. It was a spelndid day. Then I had to drive them back to Richmond after that. It's about a 3 hour round trip drive. Now I have to end my night dying her hair. Fun fun.

I would like to thank my lovely lady friends for making my family's visit nice. I appreciate it and I know they appreciate. Thank you Ms. 'Gus for taking them to the Surfing Competition at the beach on Saturday...and then taking us to the beach afterward. 'Cakes...your French toast were divine. DI-VINEEE, I say!

Ok, now let me get to hair dying. So I can crash in bed.

Today's photo is in honor of my sailing trip with my Uncle today. This was taken on his boat, probably some time last year.

Apparently I almost hit a man on a Bike this morning.
I was parked on a One Way Street, and when I got to the intersection of I stopped and looked left and right several times. It's hard seeing cars coming down the main road, because of the cars parked on the side. Knowing this...and knowing I need to turn left...I look several times very hard before I proceed in to the intersection. Also...knowing I'm going down a one way street...and the street across from me is also a one way street...I don't look forward. Only left and right.

As I quickly pull in to the main road and go left, I happened to look in my rear view mirror and see a blur go behind me. I was like... 'Was that a bike? Did I almost hit a bike?!'

But...I think nothing more of it and proceed down the road. Then I got a call from 'Cakes 2 minutes after. And she was laughing. And I said to her...'Did I almost hit a bike?' And she said... 'YES! It was soooo funny! You turned left and he was coming down the other direction, but he never stopped and went through the intersection. He probably assumed you saw him and you weren't going. But you went and almost hit him...he started screaming and cussing and started chasing after you. Then he almost got hit by another car and he started cussing at that car.'

I felt horrible, but...this is why people on Bikes need to follow the rules of the road like cars. Believe me...I'll look forward, Left, and Right from now on.

By the way, I'm in the same department as 'Gus now... and apparently our new boss doesn't like us taking breaks together. She mentioned this to another employee. 'Gus, B-Rad, and I took a 5-10 minute break to walk around the parking lot and then came right back and worked some more. Ridiculous.

Today's photo is from last week. 'Gus and I were messing around with the pinhole in the Mini. See my Bonnaroo wrist band? I kept it as a souvenir. 'Gus got hers bit off her wrist the last day of the event. Weirdo.
