I'm on my way to San Francisco today. Well, not yet...obvisouly I'm home writing my blog right now...but as you read this, I'll be making my way towards San Fran. My flight leaves at 5:30 in the morning. I'm not really looking forward to that. I hope the coffee shop at the airport is open when I get there. Some how I doubt it.

I have a few more things to pack... like my cameras. I'm going to the Macworld Conference. Should be fun and interesting. Traveling alone makes me super nervous.

I'm going to miss my girls and my ladies!

Today's photo was taken a couple of days ago. We have a bunch of corks sitting on our windowsill.

Cheeky's back home. She's a bit drugged up, but doing well. She's a little grumpy, but I can't blame her. My job is to keep her fed, warm, and comfortable. I'm taking the day off from work tomorrow to be by her side. I love that little girl.

So we may or may not get snow again this weekend. I'm thinking we'll get more rain then snow.

Monday I'm heading over to San Francisco for Macworld. Yup...everything and anything about Mac stuff. I'm excited that I'm taking a day long photography class. We get to walk around San Francisco to take photos. I'm sure we won't be able to get to far from the Convention Center. Ah well. It should still be fun.

Today's photo was taken...I guess a couple of months ago. I'm not really sure. It was taken down at the Oceanfront. I didn't realize I had my Diana set on Bulb, hence the blur.

I've got to make this fast. It's late and I'm tired. Thank you 'Gus for helping me finish up my first CSS Website. It looks adequate...but the CSS is the bomb thanks to you! Thanks again.

I had a splendid time with my Great Uncle this evening. He and I went to the American Theatre in Hampton and watched/listened to a String Quartet and their special Guest Performer. They were a lot of fun to watch, it sure seemed liked they love their Art.

Tomorrow Ms. Cheeky is going under the knife again to get another mass removed. I'm not a fan of her having surgery, but I love her and want her to be comfortable...not that surgery's comfortable. But hopefully you know what I mean. I took Friday off to spend quality time and be supportive of my little lady. We'll snuggle together...if she's in the mood of course.

Today's photo was taken a couple of months ago on our camping trip to Kerr Dam. Here's another mushroom. I'd like to take more pinhole mushroom photos...with color film. I'll keep that in mind.

Finally got a good run in today! 'Cakes and I have been unable to run since I think last Thursday. The snow hasn't allowed us to get out and run around the neighborhood. Well...mostly the ice. Don't need to be breaking any legs. I'm just say'n.

So today, 'Cakes and I went to the Rec Center and signed up for a year and got our tails on a treadmill. I enjoyed watching all the Asian playing Badminton below up on the basketball courts. I was impressed at how good they were...but not really, since they are my people. We use to play all the time with my mom when we were younger. Brought back good memories.

'Gus has helped me designed my first CSS website. Well...when I say 'helped' I mean she told me what to write in. So...really I don't feel like I can claim this was my first CSS website. Ah well. It's coming along. I've butchered it a little bit with adding a list. Lovely.

Today's photo was taken last year on my trip to Tucson, Arizona. This was taken behind the Courthouse in Tombstone... OOoOoOOoooh. It's the shadow of the gallows.

Sorry for the no post yesterday. For some reason I couldn't log in to my account! Grrr. Anyway, here I am now. 'Cakes and I did some serious snow/ice shoveling of the driveway this evening. We actually got snow here in Virginia Beach. That doesn't happen very often...but since it did, we made the most of it. Saturday morning we woke up to beautiful snow covering everything. So pretty. This was Giuseppe's first snow, so she was curious of course...then ran and ran for hours in it. She really loves snow. Cheeky...she's seen it before and isn't all that impressed. She rather stay in a nice warm house.

Well...the snow was definitely a nice change. Now we have ice and slush.

Today's photo was taken Sunday. 'Cakes and I decided to build a snowman since we had such lovely snow. 'Gus named him 'Holga'.

Almost didn't make it today. 'Cakes and I almost threw in the towel...but 'Cakes got her 2nd wind after running around with Giuseppe. So...'Cakes and I did at least got a 2 mile run in tonight. It was getting really late for running...about 8:30. That's a bit later than what we feel comfortable running. We're glad we did it. No crazy freelance for me tonight. I'm going to do my website design this weekend. Take a little brake.

Today's photo is not taken with my iPhone. It in fact was taken with my Woca about 2 years ago in Boston, Mass. 'Gus and I were at the HOW Design Conference and enjoyed walking around the city when we had some down time. Such a lovely place. Here's a street performer and a Mom with a Stroller.

I am unbelievably tired. I've been working on Freelance work for a couple of hours. I still have dishes to wash before I can go to bed.

I was super excited about the news of the new iPad. It looks like the hawtness. The name...not so much. Maybe they'll change it to something cooler.

I can't think straight anymore. I think my mind shuts off at 10:00...it's way past that. Today's photo was taken Monday night at Bodega, during Norfolk's Restaurant Week. The food was so tasty! Chocolate Cake...not so much. But...we ate the whole thing anyway. So I guess it couldn't have been completely bad.

'Cakes and I went for a 3 mile run today. It was hard, but got easier halfway through. I wonder why it takes me a bit to get in the groove of the run. Thursday our aim is for 4 miles. 'Gus is at TRX class right now. They moved her crossfit class time slot for TRX, because I think more people wanted to try TRX. They're nuts...exercising nuts! I may have to give it a try.

Today's photo was taken a couple of days ago. I don't know what these things are called, but my family calls them Monkey Balls. Anyway...they're everyWHERE in our backyard. We just raked up 6 bag fulls a couple of weeks ago. 6 more bags...here we come.

The Ladies and I went to Bodega for Norfolk's Restaurant Week tonight. What a wonderful atmosphere and the food was delicious! All three of us have decided that we'll be going there again one day. The Chocolate Cake however wasn't our favorite. It was just ok, nothing to write home about...or blog about that matter. The best Chocolate Cake EVER so far is from Coyote Cafe. Mhmmmm! Yum.

Well...I know today's photo wasn't taken with my usual film cameras...but I'm trying to keep inspired and I'm really digging my new iPhone App. Hipstamatic. I like how unpredictable it is. Kind of like the Holga...I never really know exactly what I'm getting until my photo gets developed. There's no light leaks, but the View Finder is not perfect. A lot of fun!

Today's photo was taken...today. This little guy belongs to 'Cakes. He's just hanging out on the back porch enjoying the weather and picking up rocks.

Sorry for not posting for awhile. I've been in a photoblog slump. I don't really think my photos are all that great. I've been meaning to get out there and get some more shots, but it's slow going. I did however get a new iPhone Camera App that I'm really excited about. I may have to post a couple of photos from that eventually.

'Cakes and I are on a mission. We've been getting in more running lately, because we have a 1/2 Marathon to get ready for in March. Our longer runs have been a little difficult, but I'm not giving up. I know it'll get easier.

Tomorrow the ladies and I are going to Norfolk's Restaurant Night! We're going to try a new restaurant...well new to us anyway. I'll let you know how it is.

Today's photo was taken a couple of months ago at the Virginia Beach Farmers Market. I'm pretty sure this is an old Washing Machine...with a plant in it.
