Listening to: Defense...Defense...on the tv

Long tiring weekend. The girls and I went up to Richmond to grab my two cousins around 9:00 a.m. and headed up to Northern Virginia to meet up with my friend Mi-kyung. It was lovely. Why? Korean Food. That's why. My cousins haven't had professionally made Korean food in a long time, so they ate their weight in food. We also stopped at a Bakery and got a little more goodies after we spent an hour and a half doing Karaoke. My male cousin seemed shy, he mentioned he wasn't really in to doing Karaoke, but once that Microphone got in his hands...it was on. Crazy boy. They had fun.

After that we headed to George Mason University to cheer on Big Guy. There were many good fights before hand and some...'Are you kidding me' fights. But overall...the whole experience was great. Big Guy's fight was the last of course, because it was the Main Event. He walked through the smoke very calmly...even though they messed up his song. He ended up coming out to a Weezer song...which I like, but it wasn't him nor did it really set the tone he was looking for. It was a little on the slow side. Well once the fight started, Big Guy through a couple of jabs and crosses and land one just right on the guy's face. The guy went down, Big Guy took the opportunity and jumped on him and started pounding down on him. After 28 seconds in to the fight...the ref called it. Big Guy then put another when behind him. Good Job Big Guy!

Today's photo is from my trip to Bristol's Rhythm and Roots Music Festival a few weeks ago. 'Gus and I were waiting patiently in line to get some soft serve. It wasn't very tasty at all.
