Yay! Today is my sister's birthday. So Happy birthday to her. I hope she had a lovely weekend and especially wonderful day today. I wish I was there to take her out to dinner or something. Jenny...that just tells you that you need to move closer to me. I'm just say'n.
Well the ladies and Big guy and I had a fantastic weekend. I must say. We met up with 'Cakes' sister and brother-in-law at the beach Saturday. 'Gus and I drove back to the apartment to walk Cheeky and bring her over to Brian & Diane's house. ('Cakes' sis and bro-in-law) Anyway...we had more fun! Just lounging out in the pool and stuffing our faces with some good eats. Uuuhhh...living the good life. I had a blast.
Sunday, the 4 usual suspects were going to go to the Art Museum to see Rembrandt's Etchings and then follow that up with the Batman movie. But unfortunately we had to forgo the Etchings because little Ms. 'Gus lost her Driver's License. Awww. So she frantically looked every where she could think of. 'Cakes called her sis and asked to look around. 'Gus thought maybe it was still in the bag with the beer she bought, which was thrown away at Diane's house. Well...wouldn't you know...Diane found it in the trash. Yay for Diane. Well anyway, the Batman movie was fantastic. Now 'Gus and I are cooking dinner, while Big Guy and 'Cakes are doing laundry. Tonight is Sunday Family New Recipe Dinner Night. We will be following it up with the Harold and Kumar movie. Can this weekend get any better?
